Even as baseball winds down to a World Series finish, football is heating up with many college teams, including the Ohio State Buckeyes who are enjoying a 5-0 record. Although there are many football and other sports borders and decals available, this week's blog will focus on Ohio State offerings. The Ohio State University has always been a football powerhouse drawing fans from throughout the state of Ohio and there are many borders and decals to choose from and many ways to use them. In addition to traditional uses on your walls think of placing them on refrigerators, books, desks, a t-shirt, your car window, etc. You get the idea. The applications are limitless.

This has nothing to do with OSU (especially since they blew it as usual), but I have two questions. 1 - do you have any other sports teams' patterns available? 2 - is there such a thing as a "green" wallcovering that is made with environmentally friendly materials and maybe even uses less noxious adhesive types?

ReplyDelete2. I am so glad you asked about environmentally friendly wallcovering. That is what makes wallpaper such a superior solution over paint. It is by nature less toxic and there have been some amazing advances in the production process which makes the final product very 'green'. In a future blog within the next two months (so keep checking back), I will devote an entire blog to the special wallpaper production techniques (i.e. water-based inks)that have evolved over tine and now contribute to the creation of amazing wallpaper patterns that are also very environmentally friendly. Some wallcoverings such as grasscloth offer the ultimate sustainable solution to decorating your home.
And, ever the optimist, although I agree with your
Buckeye comment in principal, there is still hope for a solid finish. Besides, my best friend is a Badger graduate so I have to tread lightly.
